The cost of a charm bracelt is $12 without charms. There is an additional cost of $6 dollars for each charm added to the bracelt. Write an equation that could be used to find how many charms c, are on the bracelet that cost $96

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well if each charm is 6$ and I buy two charms well that's just 6(2) so if I want toe buy three charms that's 6(3) or lets say "c" charms that's 6(c). I also buy one charm bracelet without charms is 12$. So the equation that follows from the situation is: 12 + 6(c) = 96

Where "c" can stand for any number of charms.
