Which line is perpendicular to y=2x-8 a) 4y+2x=2 b) y=2x-4 C) 3X+2Y=-6 d) y=-2+7

When two lines are perpendicular to each other, their product of their slopes should be -1. The slope of y = 2x - 8 is 2. What do we need to multiply 2 with, to get -1?

Are there any choices? Any line that is the inverse of the slope y=-(1/m)x + b is perpendicular. In this case, y=-(1/2)x + b along the line.
