What is square root of 0.9? It says to round to 4 decimal places. I got 0.9487. Don't understand why that's wrong

0.9 = 9/10
Square root of 9/10 = 3/Square root(10) = 0.9486832 = 0.9487.

Should be correct, really..

Perhaps your answer in Webassign's something like 0.9486 or 0.9488..sometimes, it's caused by technical problems.

Sorry about that. Perhaps you can try reporting the problem to your professor, OR asking other students in your class and seeing if they got an answer different from yours?
