The three major holy books are similar because they all honor the same God, but by different names. They are different because even though they have the same roots, they disagree on who Jesus is. The Torah (Judaism) believes that he was a false prophet, while the Bible (Christianity) honors him as the Son of God. The Qur'an (Islam) honors Muhammad as the most recent prophet and believes that Jesus was the first of many Messiahs. Christianity and Judaism also believe that Muhammad is a false prophet.
