1/ 4 (2x − 14) = 4

Parth (parthkohli):

multiply both sides by 4

Parth (parthkohli):

add 14 to both

Parth (parthkohli):

divide by 2

Just to Cross Multiply 1 = 4 * 4 (2x-14) 1 = 16 (2x-14) 1 = 32x - 224 225 = 32x nw Solve for x

A x = 15 B x = 15 over 2 C x = 9 D x = 11

i think it is a bit different 1/4(2x-14)=4 you can first get rid of 1/4 by multiplying by 4 to both sides 1/4*4(2x-14)=4*4 2x-14=16 add 14 to both sides 2x=16+14 2x=30 x=15 divide by 2 from both sides the answer is A x = 15
