Well you know (I assume) that it is a straight line so 2 points will do.

Put x = 0 and find y, then

Put y = 0 and find x, then plot those 2 points, draw a line through them..

slope is read "rise over run". What this means is that you have one number over another. You have a 3. But lets pretend thats a 3 over a 1 because 3/1 is the same thing as 3. so 3 is OVER 1. Now remember that RISE sits OVER the RUN. But what does that mean? the word rise means up.....liek rise up a mouintain....vertical.
