But things equal to the same thing are also equal to one another [C.N.1]. Thus, CA is also equal to CB. Thus, the three (straight-lines) CA, AB, and BC are equal to one another.

since AB and AC are radii of the same circle CDB, they are equal. Again, since AB and BC are radii of same circle CAE, they are equal. Thus, by transition property of equality, AB=AC=BC. Thus ABC is an equilateral triangle.
