2 - 2(x - 1) / 3 = 4(x - 1) / (x + 1)

Multiply by x + 1
2(x + 1) - 2(x - 1)(x + 1) / 3 = 4(x - 1)

Multiply by 3
3 * 2(x + 1) - 2(x - 1)(x + 1) = 3 * 4(x - 1)

Simplify
(6x + 6) - (2x^2 - 2) = 12x - 12
6x + 6 - 2x^2 + 2 = 12x - 12
6x + 6 - 2x^2 + 2 - 12x + 12 = 0
-2x^2 - 6x + 20 = 0
2x^2 + 6x - 20 = 0
x^2 + 3x - 10 = 0

Factor
(x + 5)(x - 2) = 0
I don't understand perfectly the question but i think i will be this one...
