f(x)=3.19x g(x)=.04x Find f(g(400))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(400 * .4) * 3.19

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put the g(x) function in the f(x) function. So where ever you see a x in the f(x) function replace it with .04x like this \[f(g(x)) = (3.19)(.04x)\] multiply 3.19 and .04 to get \[f(g(x)) = .1276x\] now you need to replace x with 400 in the f(g(x)) function like this \[f(g(400)) = (.1276)(400)\] multiply that out and you get 51.04 as your answer
