the vertex form of a quadratic function, which is f(x) = a(x - h)2 + k, gives you information about the transformation. Select and explain two pieces of information about the transformations of a function that vertex form provides. Totally lost, help please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The vertex of the parabola is vertex = (h,k) this tells you shifting the vertex of the parabola up down left right. The "a" value tells you the width of the parabola as well as which direction the parabola opens.

hope that helps
