Nice to have a separate group for Probability. Let me inaugurate by asking a Probability Question. You have 2 dice, one has 1 - 6 written on its 6 face and the other has all faces blank for you to fill with integers. How will you fill the 6 faces of another dice, so as to get the sum , when both the dice are rolled together, as equi-probable from 1 to 12 . Note : its has 2 different answers.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

But a sum that is not from 1 to 12 is not allowed?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

How about the other dice has three faces marked 0 and three faces marked 6 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah.... other dice has three faces marked 0 and three faces marked 6.

hartnn (hartnn):

that is correct 1 solution! what about other ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All faces greater than or equal to 13

hartnn (hartnn):

that is also correct! was it so easy :P

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Since it's integers anyway, how about all faces less than or equal to -6
