PLEASE HELP ME ANYONE? <3333 In a FEW sentences, how you would use the substitution method to solve the following system of equations. Provide the solution to the system. 5x - y = -2 10x - 3y = -7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first, i would isolate y from the first equation 5x - y = -2 to get : y = 5x + 2 then i will substitute it into the second one to get : 10x - 3(5x+2) = -7 then ill get the x value. after getting the x value ill plug it into one of the original equations to get the y value.

Calculate the value of Y from First equation and put this value in second equation, you will get the value of X

Thank you... you are all so incredibly good at math...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you get the solution now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have been asked for it
