Could someone walk me through how to solve this? Can't seem to get anywhere... "A spherical asteroid has the diameter 100km. The gravitational acceleration is 1m/s^2. How much does the asteroid weigh?"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know the equation for universal gravitation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know what.... I solved it. Turns out I need to practice mathematics and not physics! Thanks though... :)

I don't know why this always happens *after* I ask a question...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ha ha no prob i was going to show you an equation derived from newtons universal gravitaion theory to work out the weight of an object.
