OpenStudy (anonymous):

in which part of the pipe is the water under the most pressure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I said B

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

consider gravity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea, water goes into pipe under pressure at part A it enters part B and becomes more compressed as well as having gravity pulling it down thus becoming more pressurised than A, it enters C which is wider thus loses a bit of pressure and then enters part D which once again has more pressure due to compression but less than B as it is aided by gravity into part E which is then even less pressure as it widens My answer is still B

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

the pressure is due to the weight of the water above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea all its asking is which part has the greatest pressure

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

i was thinking A , but im not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

surely B has the most is it is compressed as well as being pushed down?
