I need help figuring out how to work this problem... simplify the expression 0.4x^3+0.3x^3-0.2x^3...I just need to know how to slove it... I thin I do but I'm not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just add the constants before x^3 together so it's (0.4+0.3-0.2)x^3 which is 0.5x^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's just the same as if you would have had 2a+3a = 5a

I thought that was how you worked it but I wasnt sure if I should still have the x^3

thanks
