help math proplom what is the formula for finding the surface area of a rectangular prism?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

a good way to remember it is surface area of prism = 2 * area of base + lateral surface area then lateral surface area is just perimeter x height in the case of rectangular prism, the area of the base is lw then the perimeter is 2l + 2w so the surface area is just \[\huge SA = 2(lw) + (2l + 2w)h\] if you simplify that... \[\huge SA = 2lw + 2lh + 2wh\] got it?

ok so thatss the answer?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

read the *whole* post...you'll know...
