Trigonometry 10 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos(2x) = q/r and sin(2x) = p/r if x is between 0 and pi/4, then find an expression for tan(x) and show that it is a rational no.

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

tan2x = p/q = (2 tanx / (1-tan^2 x)) solve for tan x i dont know really,,but this should work..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and how do we solve that??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This question same as other one, only in algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use half angle formula, not double angle

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

it'll give you a quadratic eqn in tanx
