During meiosis 2, the 23 chromosomes are pulled apart into chromatids. If a sperm and egg cell have on 23 chromatids, when they come together, they only have 23 chromosomes. How is this possible?

when sperm and ova fuses together we obtain a zygote which contains 23 pairs of chromosomes . i think u must have misunderstood the statement
