the speed of neuron signalling is about 72 km/h = 20m/s.
So to do the math for a 3 meter giraffe can feel the pain after after the time t is:
$$t=\frac{ 3 m }{ 20 m/s }=0.15 s$$
And there we have it, it take 0,15 s for a 3 meter giraffe to feel the from its foot. (by assumption on my speed of neurons is right)

@Frostbite you are right. But the speed varies from 1m/s to 100m/s.

That is true, now when i come to think about it. The structure of the neurons can determine a great deal, but also alot of other factors.
