I have just started learning functions and there is a question on my homework like this: Let f(x) = x2 and g(x) = x + 5, and find the following. then it has four answer blanks to fill in with questions like these (f o g)(3) <- ok the o in the middle is a little open circle but not a dot.. I have no idea what it means. Please tell me what the little circle means and what I am supposed to do to get the answer. Thanks!
