Hi i just started 9th grade and im in algebra 1. How do you solve 15x+1=y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um what are u looing for? cuz i dot think there is a way to solve just that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that all of the problem?

Is this a graph? If not, you need 2 equations to solve 2 variables. ie Another equation could say simply x=5 what is y. In this case it would 15(5) +1=76. We could also say that x=1 in which case 15(1) +1=16. We can now see that we can get more values if we don't have another equation. Actually there are an infinite amount of values without another equation.
