Algebraaa :D:D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well. Ok. Hopefully you are. It's really really simple.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = -b +-sqrt b^2 -4ac / 2a.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ax^2 + bx + c = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats format for all quadratic equations. Therefore, 4x^2 - 6x - 10 = 0. 4 would be A. -6 would be B and -10 would be C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would a be -6? i thought a would be 4 :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then b would be -6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. Thats what I said lol. 4 would be A. ........-6 would be B...........-10 would be C.....Easy after its explained, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For that (+-)....youre going to need to add and subtract for two different answers. The answer with a positive is a real solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol. now. Would you mind giving me a medal? lol :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did work it out , but im not sure if it's correct or not

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. the answer should be. 2.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you think you could help me on another real quick?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure. type it in. Ill answer it in like, 10 minutes.I have to go do something. brb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5x^2 = 50. Go. 50/5 = 10. then square 10. So. Answer is = 3.16

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tyvm!!!!
