\[(1+\frac{.12}{12})^{12}\] for the first one. well actually it is that minus 1 http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%281%2B \frac{.12}{12}%29^{12}\

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get \(1.1268\) for an increase (yield) of \(.1268\) or \(12.68\%\) for that one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

second one is \[e^{.14}-1\] and again a calculator http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=e^%28.14%29-1 about \(15\%\)
