What should be included in a biographical sketch? Is this a good biographical sketch or a writer?

Stephen Crane was born on November 1, 1871 in in Newark, New Jersey, to Reverend Jonathan Townley Crane and Mary Helen Crane. He was the fourteenth child and last born. His father was a Methodist minister and because of that, they moved around a lot. They finally settled down in Port Jervis N.Y. This is where his father died. His mother supported the family by writing letters for the religious papers. When his mom died, Crane moved to New York as a young writer to support himself. His first novel Maggie: A Girl of the Streets, was published in 1893. In 1895 he publish The Red Badge of Courage, this book made him an instant celebrity. From a trip back home, his ship wrecked, and he spent 4 day in a boat before he was rescued. He married Cora Taylor who he met during the illness. He wrote the short story "The Open Boat” about that experience. Crane never fully recovered from the illness, his condition worsened. On June 5, 1900 he died in Badenweiler, Germany of tuberculosis in a Black Forest sanatorium at the age of 28.
