Find the equation of a line perpendicular to 2x-5y=10 passes through the points (3,-1)

The equation becomes 5Y=2x+10 the slope is 2/5. A line that is perpendicular to this line will have be a negative reciprocal of 2/5. Then use either the point slope or slope intercept form to solve the equation for a line going through (3, -1)..
