So:
Let's suppose x and y is the variable amount.
x + y = 15000
And
0.06x + 0.075y = 1023

Can you solve further/
13 years ago
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So, x+y=15,000
0.06x+0.075y=1023
x=-y+15000
0.06(-y+15000)+0.075=1023
-0.06y+900+0.075y=1023
-0.015y+900=1023
-0.015y=-900+1023
-0.015y=123
-0.015y/-0.015=123/-0.015
y=-8200
y=-(-8200)
y=8200
x=-8200+15000
x=6800
