Okay, here's one way: You take 7 3/4lbs and break it down into decimal form = 7.75 then you multiply it times 124ounces (or since you didn't know the number and other one) and then take your answer, in this case 961 and divide it by 7.75 to give you 124 ounces.
^Not sure that's right since we still don't know what ½ stands for
