Olaudah equiano was a shipped African who was a part of the British movement the “abolition of the slave trade”. As a child he purchased his freedom, became an author merchant and a explorer, south America, the Caribbean and much more places around the world. Olaudah was born 1745 in the region now known as Nigeria. He had five brothers and sisters. When he was just 11 years old he and his sister where kidnapped by slave holders.
