I did this twice and got x = 2 both times? What am I doing wrong here? Can someone help me?

7x+14 and 14x - 28
x=2 and x=2

7/5 = 2x-4/x+2
7x+14 and 10x-20
x = 2 and x = 2

I think that you're looking at the problem wrong.

Set 2x-4=x+2 and solve, because they are equal to each other and solve for x that way!
