8-7x=17+2x -7 -7 8-0=17+-5x -17 -17 -9=-5 -9/-5 i know im doing something wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8-7x=17+2x You have to know the number(x) that will go to do this equation right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its very simple. 8-7x=17+2x, isolate the "x".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8-7x-2x=17 => -9x=17-8 => -9x=9 => x=-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you do that tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8-7x=17+2x -7x-2x = 17-8 -9x = 9 -9 = 9x -9/9 = -1 = x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i get it k=now thanks everyone
