Solve 3t < -15 Really need some help.

Divide each side by 3. You will then get a simpler inequality. The solution is an infinity of points, it's an open ray. Not one point.

Hint: the solution will be expressed as such: t < x. Find x The answer is not x but it is "t < x"

OpenStudy (amorfide):

3t < -15 you have 3 lots of t you want t not 3 lots so 3 lots means you have multiplied t by 3 to get 3t so you want to do the opposite, which is divide, so you divide by 3 to get t but if you divide the left by 3 you must divide the right by 3 so you get 3t/3<-15/3 simplify
