PLEASE HELP!!! Find the quadratic function y=ax^2+bx+c whose graph passes through the given points: (1,1) (-1,11) (2,8)

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

all three points have to satisfy the equation. so, for instance (x,y)=(2,8) then \[ \large \color{red}{8}=a\cdot\color{red}{2}^2+b\cdot\color{red}{2}+c \]

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

then \[ \large 8=4a+2b+c \]

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

do the same with the other two points. in the end u'll have a linear system of three equations with three unknowns
