nearly all of the plant tissue called ____ is made up of cell walls

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"In trees and other large plants, nearly all of the tissue we call wood is made up of cell walls."

It is funny, I answered the 100% same question yesterday, but i am not sure if it is right, but here is what i wrote: "God i am very very unsure. Only know that the cell wall is particularly important in the xylem, because the column of water in the hollow xylem cells is under tension (negative pressure) and without the lignin reinforcement from the cell wall the cells would collapse." So i think it is xylem. http://openstudy.com/users/frostbite#/updates/50807bfee4b00774b24190a3
