I need help with creating a thesis statement, here is the question: How did the recreational activities of peoples before 1500 compare with ours today?

Thesis statements are like the preview for what your entire paper will be about. So, if you were to describe your paper in one sentence, that is your thesis statement. You could put something like, "recreational activities have changed drastically since the 1500s to present day" or "the recreational activities of today are drastically different from those that were practiced in the 1500s." Or you could go a different route and say something like "In the 1500s, recreational activities were more centered around (example) as opposed to today's activities which are centered on (example)."
