will some one help me write a pruswasive essay letter to a prinsible
You first need to tell us EVERYTHING this essay will entail. If you had not been so vague, you could have gotten an answer yesterday.
If you still need help with this, I'll be happy to help if you go into what you need assistance with.
ok ill post it later will u be able to still help me @Mew
Yes, that will be fine. :) I'll keep checking in.
we have to get r prinsable to let us use phones in class for school and it doesnt have to be a essay it is just a letter Your opinion clearly stated Your 2 strong reasons clearly stated Your 2 facts to support your opinions You must use one of the 4 persuasive techniques in 5.04 A letter to the principal in letter format with salutation, sign off, your address and the school address Cite your sources by writing the title, author, web address of the articles you used at the bottom of your page.
@Mew
@Peeps can u still help me i have posted every thing that i need
What are the 4 persuasive techniques you have been studying? Also, I don't think it's a good idea to allow cell phone use in class, so you're going to have to tell us what your 2 reasons are. Then, I can help you write your letter.
that is what i am doing im doing it on becuase they can cheat and go on other things there on spose to
Your prompt says to convince your principal to allow phones. I'm a little confused. Can you write the opposite stance?
think but ill go with what it says so it wil be so it can be easer to look up things and makes it more funny for kids
I like the idea of looking things up, but "more funny" is not something the principal will change his mind over, in my opinion. How about one of these ideas? I'll start on the letter, and you pick one more reason. 1. Each of my students has a homework buddy. When a buddy is absent, the students sends a text message to the home bound student explaining what was missed during the period. 2. Many students have a planner on their phones. The planner is important for keeping test information or scheduling important meetings or work schedules. The students with ADHD or other learning disabilities appreciate the reminders that they would forget if it wasn't for their phones reminding them. 3. Most of my students work part or full times jobs. Their bosses can text them important messages about work schedules or changes in their schedules. 4. Parents can text important information about doctor appointments etc..
i like that one yes that amsing
Which one? You only need two reasons.
doc and the study buddie
here r the tehniqes alliteration allusions connotations denotations hyperbole imagery metaphors parallelism personification rhetorical questions similes
r u there still @Peeps
Yes, I'm still here. Give me a few minutes.
OK, here is a quick letter that I wrote. It will need some tweaking because I'm not familiar with the persuasion techniques. I'd have to look them all up. Also, I used three reasons. You can omit one, if you want to. I hope I helped, at least a little.
Dear Mr. So-and-so, I am writing in regards to your rule on the use of cell phones in the classroom. Currently, cell phones are prohibited. I would like you to reconsider this rule. Classes are filled to capacity with students, but there are only a few computers in each classroom. A cell phone will allow students to access the internet if need-be. This can reduce the amount of time students spend after school, as well as the amount of homework they have. In the case of group work, students can get input on their project from an absent group member. This will allow the entire class to move forward, and no one will be left behind just because one student is home sick. Lastly, parents give their children cell phones for safety. This peace of mind comes with the knowledge that they have access to their child at all times. Currently, parents cannot reach their children during classroom hours. If cell phones are allowed in class, parents can contact their children, any time, for things like reminders for doctors’ appointments and schedule changes.
omgosh thank you so much u dont know how much i thank u is there and thing need help with

Oh..@Peeps have said almost all, but you could consider adding: Students might want to use cellphones for 'quick research' in class, using dictionary available on phones....
