Open the parenthesis \[= -6p - 12\] Add 12 to both sides \[12 = -6p\] Divide both sides by -6 \[-2 = p\]
@WorldExplorer i dont think its done this way bcos we have to simplify does it mean that given expression is equal to 0?
Read the question carefully. Its saying to simplify the expression not solving it.
Oh yeah: Factor out = -6 (p - 2)
