OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have any clues on how to solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what kind of clues

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: what do five sides of a pentagon add up to? how many degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

540?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so can you solve x now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think so . i need steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) It's a regular pentagon so all sides need to add up to 540 degrees 2) so now we just gather all the sides and equate it to 540, notice at the bottom left is the right square, that represents it's a right angle(90 degrees). so 90+148+2x+10+2x+112 = 540 4x + 360 = 540 4x = 540 - 360 4x = 180 x = 180/4 x = ???? last step is for you to solve, make sure you understand it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

45?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really appreciate it , thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem, medal thanks :P
