Saso, not everyone uses chat or talks to other users. So there is a chance she...or..he.. may not have known of the filter. :P

Algebraic, its just so the troll users dont cuss people out and offend other users. If its filtered by a different word, no one will know what you're talking about. Thats all.

well every now and then, you are most likely to find a stupid person in the chat who wants to cuss at ppl so the filter was made for them so that it reduces the effect of the real words, at least those words are less effective than the cuss words.

Its because the site is owl themed, because owls show wisdom and learning.. So the filter would change them to OWL words. Does that make sense?

I do that, too, because people always send me questions thru PM, or they ask me really creepy questions.

lol i didn't know i hadn't fanned you. i used to get too many messages from ppl for direct help via messages, had to put a restriction on that :)
