U have to multiply the forces with the relevant distances then equal them to zero...:)

Okay, these are force vectors acting on the beam, they are free vectors, meaning, we can create one resultant force equivalent to the sum of the original forces, and apply this at one pt. on the beam. But when we do this, we also have to account for the moment that will be produced.
