Help please :D

Look at the figure. Make a two-column proof showing statements and reasons to prove that triangle DEF is similar to triangle DEG.|dw:1350759648131:dw|

I'm really bad with proofs etc. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tkhunny may you help me please :(

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

1) We have two angles that are congruent. That's a good place to start. 2) Or do we? Is that 60 with the line through it the the larger angle or just the one piece? 3) If it's the larger angle, the larger triangle is equi-angular (also equilateral). Okay, maybe there's enough, there. Think it through. You need congruent angles and two sets of proportional sides. Is there another way to demonstrate "similar"?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Oh, stop thinking this: "I'm really bad with proofs etc. :(" Take a deep breath. Gather the information at your disposal. Think it through. You won't necessarily see the end from the beginning. Try things. You won't break it!

I am though I have no clue how to do any of this, but yeah.. i dont know

Um may I ask what proportional sides are also?
