I need some help.. the example on my homework is not cutting it. Multiply (4s-3)(s+5) I used F.O.I.L but it did not come out correct for some reason.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no need for FOIL - multiply terms in second parentheses by 4s and then by -3 = 4s*s + 5*4s -3*s - 3*5 now simplify

I got those and then I combined like terms and it said it was wrong. I got 4s^2+20s-3s-15 and then came up with 4s^2+17s-15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Never mind it was a typo. Thanks got it now!
