OpenStudy (nincompoop):

the siege and defeat of jerusalem was inevitable. But prior to the siege, Saladin did offer Balian a peaceful negotiation of surrender to avoid bloodshed (apparently Balian is a badass mfker and Saladin recognized his bravery and skills) to no avail.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what does saladin conclude to??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he offers them to surrender?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

After days of siege, Balian found his situation to be hopeless and had accepted the negotiated surrender, but Saladin initially refused because his men was in the middle of the siege.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thanks nin! :D

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

But Balian is really a badass mfker, he was able to repulse the attack and finally Saladin agreed to a peaceful transition of power in Jerusalem.
