ok, the sum of two numbers is equal to 12. Write and solve an equation to find the value of each number, if the larger number is twice the value of the smaller number

You do -- + -- = 12 n + 2n + 12 3n= 12 --- --- 3 3 n = 4 4 X 2 + 8 4 and 8 ! :)

I got 3n by combining n and 2n:) Learned this a week ago in algebra
