Can someone tell me why my smartscore went from level 72 back down to 71 on separate days. Last night I logged on here and saw that it was back down to 71, what is up with that?

I would appreciate it if a Moderator or Ambassador would put it back up to 72..thanks

— That is because SmartScore is comparative. It decreases when others' increases.
— Neither a moderator nor an ambassador can change your score. Only an admin can, and he wouldn't.

No, but if you are off for a few days, then it would be decreasing due to your lack of mobility on the site.

1) Stop caring about smartscore. It doesn't matter.
2) Why should your score be gifted to you out of pity when everyone else has to earn their smartscore?

........If you just have the tab open and don't do anything on it, it will lower it. So if you want your score to bump back up, then start answering/asking questions. Interact with people on the site. Because, sorry, no I can not bump it back up for you.

Alright its all good, so whenever I'm not on, I should close out of the tab right? and that will not mess with it?

It wouldn't matter. You just gotta be doing something on the site by interacting to make the score bump up!
