Verify the Identity: Sin(cot+tan)=sec I got : Sincot+sintan Sin/1 (1/tan)+sin/1(Sin/cos) 1/sintan+sin/sincos ^(the bottom of 1/sintan) Simplified to sin/1(sin/cos) Then it canceled out and the Sin/sincos simplified to sec and it was verified. Is this right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cot x = cosx/sinx tanx = sinx / cosx Use this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sin ( (sin^2 + cos^2)/sinx cos x) = secx
