CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SHOW ME HOW TO graph -x - 2y = 6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

separate y and take all other terms to RHS. start putting values in x and get values of y. plot y against x

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

to graph a line, you basically need 2 points ...let x = 0 find y ...then you get 1 point.. then let y = 0 , find x , then you get another point. Now you have 2 points to graph

I got th 3rd one but I don't think that's right...

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

why don't you extend the lines, and see if they match with the 2 points you got?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this looks right to me

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

correct
