Need help fixing my answer, help would be appreciated. I am supposed to complete and balance this equation for an acid-base reaction. The problem is: HC2H3O2(aq)+Ca(OH)2(aq)-> I *thought* I completed it, getting 2HC2H3O2+Ca(OH)2=Ca(C2H3O2)2+2H2O , but it keeps saying my answer is incorrect. please help.

I wonder if it is because Ca(OH)2 is only partially soluble in water. So if you wrote it as Ca(OH)2(s) you may get a diff response. The equation is balanced correctly, its the net ionic eq.

ill try that. thanks so much! :)
