I've been doing a projectile motion lab where I need calculate the average velocity through the slope of a line of best fit line. They gave me the equation dx = sin2theta * (vi^2)/g and told me to graph the sin 2 theta on the x-axis and the range (horizontal distance) on the y-axis. I graphed it, but how do I use the slope to find the initial velocity of the ball?
