It seems LEXILE is a grade level for reading. With additional research, it was found that grade 8 has a range of 1000-1120. Give the range you provided, that would fall in the graduate range of 1480-1700. I am a reading specialist.  Yes, that is a very good score.  If you go to lexile.com I believe they have books that you would find in your 'readability' level that you would enjoy!
