what is the equation of a line that passes through the point (-2,4) and is parallel to the line y=3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry to butt in, just a nit-picky detail regarding "The slope of the line y=3 is 0; there is no slope " A slope of zero is not the same has having no slope. Common point of confusion, but having no slope means the slope is undefined (i.e. vertical line). Ok, carry on.

Ooh, also, this doesn't make sense, "The final answer is y=6." How can the line be horizontal through y=6 if it passes through the point (-2,4)?
